Vintage West Bend Penguin Hot and Cold Server. This iconic server, also known as a Penguin ice bucket, was designed by Ralph N. Kircher and produced by the West Bend Aluminum Company, becoming popular in the post-WWII era for entertaining. Vintage West Bend Penguin Hot and Cold Server/Ice Bucket. It's a chromium-plated steel server with a distinctive penguin shape, including a lid that resembles the penguin's head and Bakelite handles that evoke flippers. It features a decorative band of penguins around the body.
