These 2 sets of vintage love bird salt and pepper shakers word made by the Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut. The company existed from 1901 to 1950. The shakers reach approximately 2.75 inches in height and are about 4 inches wide. The birds measure about 2.25 inches long from beak to tail and are a little over 1 inch wide. Condition. These beauties will add charm and delight to anyone’s dining table. One set is in very good vintage condition with very little wear and with the corks still in tact. The second set will need cork replacements and the silver has lifted along the bottom as you can see in the photos. Although the second set has a bit more wear underneath, it didn’t feel right to separate these sets. I mean what’s cuter than a set of 2 lovebirds..2 more of course!
