Vintage Wedgwood Jasperware Bell

Vintage Wedgwood bone-china table bell. White-on-blue Jasperware. Classic “Four Seasons” pattern based on 18th c. John Flaxman design. Cherub cameos representing the four seasons: Spring, bird & nest; Summer, garland of flower; Autumn, sickle & wheat-sheaf; Winter, brazier. Bordered by falling acanthus leaves. Ceramic ball clapper on metal hook. Discontinued design (purchased in 1970’s). Excellent vintage condition (only minor burnishing on interior from clapper). Stamped "Wedgewood England".
