Vintage Victor Costa Navy & White Polka Dot Cocktail Dress

Victor Costa vintage dress, circa 1986, worn by Penelope Cruz in 2004 at the "Head in the Clouds" premier at the Toronto Film Festival, and by Holly Hunter in the film "Broadcast News," 1987. Black strapless dress with white dots and white and black striped belt at empire waist and large bow embellishment. Hits below the knee. Neckline can be folded down to form a "V" or up. Includes a separate black underlay with lace trim. Sharp, chic, and an instant collectable by 1980s American designer Victor Costa. Measurements: Length 37", Waist 27", Bust 31" Fits similar to a US 4/6. Wear consistent with age and use. The dress shows light wear and the white ribbon has darkened to an ivory shade. A few of the interior seams have loose threads. The ribbon belt in the back is about 2 mm off on either side of the zipper (see photo). Label has a cut down the middle.
