Vintage Upcycled Brooch Open-work Gold, Pearls & Dangling Cross

Home-designed project of mine starting with an antique gold colored brooch that I began adding and layering upon. Modifications: I interjected a portion of a pearl branch into the leaf motif, and then I placed a pearl lined button-size accent with a smoky navette-shaped center stone high up on the right side. I attached a dangling cross charm that had been a vintage earring. → See last photo in the gallery with the evergreen background, this was the red resin stone that had originally been in the design at the time of purchase. I've been crafting for so long, and my favorite creations are resulted from merging and modifying, restoration and preservation. No two pieces ever alike.
