mostly 30s-50s Vintage Universal No. 2 food and meat chopper made of solid cast iron with hand-crank operation. Manufactured in the USA by Universal Chopper Division, Union Mfg. Co., New Britain, Connecticut. This is the classic clamp-on countertop model commonly used for meat, vegetables, nuts, and sausage preparation. Includes original Universal box and all visible components shown in photos. Metal shows honest age-appropriate wear and patina consistent with vintage use. Wood handle is intact and turns smoothly. Clamp functions properly and secures well to a table or counter. A great piece for collectors, farmhouse or rustic kitchen display, or practical use for traditional food preparation.
