Vintage Umbro 90s Red Referee Soccer Jersey | Abstract Geometric Football Shirt

The kings of 90s football fashion styling created this design late in that decade based upon the type of tags used. The edgy all over print is comprised of straight and curved lines battling over real estate that creates a map for three shades of red also seeming to compete for supremacy. The pattern which is reflected onto the back largely takes up only one side of the shirt to give it a sense of duality reflecting chaos and calm. It also features sewn Umbro lettering on the front right chest, a pocket for your red and yellow card on the left chest, repeating Umbro logos in a stripe at the edge of the sleeves, black snap buttons at the neck, and a black and white cloth collar sewn into the top with Umbro lettering on the solid side of the shirt. Shirt is labeled XL, and fits like a typical US soccer jersey and modern shirt. Made in Canada of polyester that has visible tiny dips in the fabric, but remains soft and smooth to the touch. Item listed is in overall good condition. The jersey originally came with a velcro circle sewn into the chest pocket so you could attach a patch with your league credentials. The velcro was carefully removed by snipping the thread on the inside of the pocket, but there are tiny holes from where the thread went in and out. They are only visible when looking up close and are better then walking around with a piece of Velcro on your chest. There is also some light pilling on the polyester.
