Vintage US Navy Serving Bowl Fouled Anchor SHENANGO China WWII Military 40's 50s

This is a vintage U.S. Navy mess hall serving bowl, likely used for serving food in a U.S. Navy officer's wardroom mess, on a naval vessels or in shore-based facilities. The anchor emblem and blue stripe are characteristic of naval dinnerware.
