Vintage US Air Force Type A-2 Leather Bomber Jacket Brown Flight Suits Ltd Sz 50 I love an A2 Bomber jacket. This one hasnt had any patches on it. The contract number on it goes back to a Roughwear contract from the 1940s. It has the hallmarks of a standard Air Force issued A2. It has the 4 outer pockets and 1 inner pocket. Its Flight Suits Ltd which has long gone out of business/became Gibson & Barnes, Americas largest supplier of flight suits. I would say its either a very good repro or original. The lining is perfect. Knit trim is fuzzy and there are tiny flaws on the back, not very noticeable. The shell is still very supple. Size: 50R Shoulder Span: 22 in; chest: 58 in; sleeve length: 26.5 in; length: 27.5 in.
