Vintage Triangular Abalone Shell Resin Coated Pin Brooch

- Iridescent light blue, pink, and lilac, with swirls of brown make up this triangular shaped abalone shell brooch - Encased in clear resin or laminate, presumably Lucite, on the front and back, which protects the shell - Very smooth, shiny, and lightweight, with no noticeable scratches, and with an almost oily appearance, which means the coating is still in great shape - Silver tone pin back that has some oxidation and spotting - Unsure of the era, but it may be anywhere from the 1950s-1990s, given the type of pin back it has - There is a little bit of chipping on one side of the back of the brooch, as it looks like the coating had a bit of film that has aged, and oxidation on the pin back as noted above, not noticeable from the front, but otherwise, in very decent condition, and still pretty to wear on a blazer, hat, or at the top of a button down shirt.
