Vintage Trembling Pink Sapphire Sterling Silver Filigree Heart Necklace

Darling 3D filigree heart pendant with a prong set pink sapphire “trembling” gem in the center. Dot detail lines the heart front. Filigree on the sides. Sterling silver - marked “H925” on the back. The H stands for Hamilton Jewelers out of Lancaster, PA. I've placed it on a dainty 18" Italian sterling trace chain with spring ring clasp - marked "Italy" and "925". Originally invented in the 1800’s and named “En Tremblant”, trembling jewels enjoyed a resurgence in the 50’s & 60’s - Elizabeth Taylor loved them. This is newer than that I think - perhaps 80's/90’s. Excellent vintage condition with no flaws. Please see all photos as these are part of the description.
