Vintage Tooled Leather Purse Teddy Bear Pattern

Real leather with metal hardware. This bag is not super heavy but has a nice sturdy, rigid feel. The trim is nicely lined with braided leather strips. The outer is tooled/embossed with a repeating teddy bear. The bear has a bow on its head and is holding a flower. The shoulder strap is adjustable length with a snap button to secure it at the short length. The inside is solid black and immaculately clean. Inside features a slip pocket. The front of the bag says “VERA.” I’m not sure if that’s the makers mark, or a custom name. I could not find anything quite like it searching online but the closest I found was from the 1970s so I’m estimating it to be around that age. Very unique! This bag is old and has some wear including cracking on the handles and a few stained or scuffed spots. I rubbed it with Leather CPR to clean and moisturize.
