Discontinued Royal Doulton Toby Jug D5824 "Auld Mac" in outstanding condition. Charming vintage character mug of an older Scottish man wearing a green hat. Perfect for Royal Doulton and Toby Jug collectors. No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing. The heavily glazed lines hand-etched onto the back say "Auld Mac" and "Bang goes the saxpence." According to the D series number, this design was created in 1937. It was produced 1939-1986. Approximately 3.1 inches tall and 3.9 inches at widest point across handle.
