Vintage Timex x Snoopy Red Baron Flying Ace Animated Manual Wind Ladies Watch

Vintage Peanuts X Timex Snoopy “Red Baron” mechanical animated collectible watch. This watch is included in the 1980 Timex catalog. The tapered strap makes me believe this is a ladies or child's watch. Watch features a black case with Snoopy on the black dial as the "Red Baron" atop his dog house. An airplane and clouds "float" around the dial as the seconds pass by (see video). The watch case measures approx. 31mm across excluding crown, and watch with original plastic/rubber strap measures approx. 8 1/2" (max wrist size of approx. 6 3/4"). The case back is marked, "Assembled in Taiwan, Base Metal Bezel, Stainless Steel Back, Snoopy (c) 1965, United Features Syndicate, Inc.." The watch is in good vintage condition with light scratches on the plastic crystal (also one area at bottom edge that has a silver appearance, may be a crack) and some wear to the case and band. Watch runs when wound and keeping generally accurate time. However, as with any mechanical watch, it may require service to continue to do so.
