Vintage Timeless Hand Painted Gaiwan Tea Cups, White Porcelain With Blue Floral Leaf Design (Set of 4) Vintage Chinese Gaiwan Tea Cups set. These traditional cups from China are known as Gaiwan ‘ guy-wan’, tea cups, for serving traditional green tea and white tea. They normally come in three sections, the bowl or cup, the saucer or base and the lid or cover, the cover holds in the heat while the traditional green tea brews. However, these tea cups are sold as ONLY a set of 4 which is eight (8) pieces (lid and cup), they are decorated in blue and white with a traditional blue floral leaf design. They are beautifully elegant and are in very nice vintage condition, no cracks, chips. Preloved condition, sign of use. Has some little spots inside cups (Please review last pics) Measurement: Lid Diameter: approx 4.5 inches Cup Diameter: approx 3.75 inches Cup with Lid Height: approx 4 inches Cup can hold 0.2 litre Wonderful set to enjoy if one enjoys tea.
