Vintage Tilso Pixie Elf with Mandolin. Resin 7 1/2" figurine, 1960s.

This is a vintage figurine - Pixie Elf Playing the Mandolin. These were manufactured by Tilso in Hong Kong in the 1950s and 60s. It is made of plastic or resin and the tunic and hat are fabric with gold trim. The color of the fabric seems to have faded to a brown as there is a more prominent blue in back under the fold of the hat. The coarse fabric is fraying a bit due to age. See photo of the hat where a frayed tear has been repaired. This item, of course, is pre-owned.
