Vintage Tie Bar Mid Century Mother of Pearl Minimalist MOP Shell

Simple, elegant gold tone necktie bar. Hi karate gold plate with a shell chard that teases opalescent pearly hints of violet/blue/gray. Certain angles it looks pearly white. Gold tone is brilliant. Two lines over the shell fragment are gold wire. Unidentified base metal, hallmarked 'METAL'. 1950's possibly older. Pre-owned. All my items for sale come from a non smoking home.
