Vintage Taylor Smith & Taylor TST Set of 4 Salad Plates // Art Deco 1872 Pattern

Four stunning Art Deco salad plates from Taylor Smith Taylor Co, made in USA. The pattern is called 1872, with dazzling platinum bands and handles. Designed by J. Palin Thorley, this pattern was the basis for TST's very popular Lu-Ray Pastels line, produced starting in 1938. These dishes are marked on the back, and dated 1937. Measure 7-1/4" across. In very good near antique condition, with no cracks or chips but some very minor scratching on the bands from use.
