Vintage Taxco Mexico 950 Sterling Bow & Arrow Duel Overlay Pin W/Converter

Vintage Taxco Mexico Brooch with added sterling silver pendant converter. Done overlay style so the dueling petroglyph figures stand out in blackened recess. Both carry bow and arrow aimed at each other and appear to be dancing. Could be hunters dancing in the firelight. Could represent any type of duality or opposing forces - good/evil, dark/light, above/below, masculine/feminine - you get the idea! Signed on the back as best I can make out “Sterling Taxco” & “Taxco 950 Mexico” in a circle around what look like "DS" or possibly "DHS" (likely the artist's initials) as the stamps. I’ve found a version of this on eBay priced at $174, but the pin style is newer and the figures less elegant. I believe this one predates those. It is very solid silver at 17.89 grams. I’ve added a marked .925 sterling pin converter as the pin c-clasp is a bit fragile. IMHO this would be best as a pendant necklace, so the pin is left alone. Otherwise, excellent vintage condition with mild wear as would be expected for age. Please see all photos for best idea of condition and size. Such a unique statement piece!
