The rare " Popcorn Vendor (Duck's Popcorn) " was made in the 1950's by the Nomura Toy Company (Trademark TN) in Japan. It is in very good condition. It is rare to find one in this condition with no missing parts. Still has original detachable umbrella, which is usually missing. It does show minor scratches and rubs, consistent with light play. There is also a hairline crack in the plastic popcorn cover. Supersize the pictures to see its condition in greater detail. It measures about 7" long and 6" high.
I could not get the toy to work, not sure if the battery contact wasn't working or if there was something else wrong. The duck should waddle along, with head bobbing, pushing his cart, with popcorn popping away.
