Awesome Vintage TAXCO Mexico two tone Sterling Silver and Brass Happy Face Sun Brooch Pin. This guy looks pretty chill, with his Fiery open work sun rays detailed in Solid Shining Sterling Silver. Marked 925 With TAXCO artist/origin code TA-160 *as of 1993 this Mark was registered to Ambrocio Avila, but prior to that was previously registered to Juan Luis Alvarez This piece does show signs of wear (minor surface scratches), and has a bit of naturally developed patina. Brass has slight speckled patina as pictured (reminds me of freckles or sun spots- quite fitting ☺️) no pitting. Clasp works well.
