Vintage Syrup Despenser

Roughly 6.5-inch tall vintage syrup dispenser. Glass with metal and plastic lid. Red handle and lid decor. The inside of the lid is oxidizing, so I'm not sure how to clean it. I do not know the type of metal. No cracks or chips. Great display piece. Made in the USA. May need cleaning. Non smoking home.
