Vintage Swarovski Clear Crystal Choker

A simple and classic choker by Swarovski. Two clear faceted crystals are set in a gold tone fixed pendant which is attached to a heavy gold tone chain and is finished with a fold over clasp. Swarovski Crystal is the most in demand as it produces the highest quality crystal. In 1891 Swarovski revolutionised the jewellery industry by introducing a glass-cutting machine replacing the previous hand-cutting technique. The precision of machine cut glass creates a high refraction index with as many as 100 facet cuts mirroring light and bending it in various directions creating a stunning crystal cut. All crystals are cut with every facet meeting perfectly at a point with another facet. The crystals are uniform in height and width with no bubbles, specks or discolourations, a true Swarovski Crystal. In great vintage condition, crystals securely attached to choker, no major scratching or loose attachments felt. Some minor color changes along clap due to wear. Total weight about 41 grams, has a bit of weight to it when worn.
