Amber is the fossilized, hardened resin of trees, ranging in age from less than a million to more than 300 million years old. This beautiful Baltic Amber has been popular throughout the World for Centuries and is reflected in many of the regions folk tales. Amber Jewels are actually pieces of petrified tree sap and found in only three areas throughout the World. Occasionally, you may find pieces of insects or plants trapped inside these jewels but they are quite rare.
