Vintage sterling silver people brooch. Acquired from a private estate collection, this primitive yet modernist style pin was handmade by an artisan and features a row of six human figures conjoined, representing unity, solidarity, community, or family. Each person of the cut-out was expertly sawed by hand and sanded to a smooth finish. Unsigned and acid tested for 925 sterling silver. The large size of 2.5” length and 1.25” width would look stunning on a jacket or coat. Excellent pre-owned condition with natural patina commensurate with age.
