Vintage Sterling Navajo Belt Buckle & Matching Earrings

Belt buckle handcrafted by Navajo silversmith L. James (Lorraine James). The reverse is clearly stamped “L. James” and "S/S" guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. Heavy substantial buckle, in a stunning shape and with stamped patterns in the Fred Harvey style. Extremely collectible old pawn, looks unworn, gave it a little polish. This vintage piece features coral and turquoise cabochons framed by intricate hand-stamped sterling silverwork. Lorraine James is a Navajo silversmith recognized for her craftsmanship and use of fine Arizona turquoise. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional techniques passed down through generations of Navajo artisans. I'm also including lapis and turquoise sterling earrings which are of the same era, likely Navajo if not also L. James, and they match beautifully. Ask questions, but no offers.
