Vintage Stainless Steel Soap Cage/Soap Shaker/Saver

Vintage (rare find) stainless steel soap cage/soap shaker/soap saver originally used during times of rationing items...food and other household necessities. Modern versions are available today. This particular vintage dispenser ages back to the 1940's. It's in very good condition considering its age. So cool to wonder who used this during its peak. Little bits of used soap would be placed in the cage, closed with steel lock and used in water to suds up and prevent any bit of loss. Very practical...non-wasteful. DIMENSIONS: 10" long.
