Vintage Stafford Chinese Garden‎ Oblong Dish Casserole Vegetables Japan Birds

Vintage “Chinese Garden “ by Shafford Japan Oblong Au Gratin Vegetables Casserole Dish Oven to table Bird Butterfly Tiger Lily Brunch Size Handle to handle 12 1/2” Inside bottom 8 1/2” x 5” Height 1 1/2” My grandmother was the original owner and in my research, it’s from the 1970’s. It’s in great condition- no chips or crazing. I do point out a tiny dot but that’s from the manufacturer, not a flaw. I don’t even see a scrape from a knife. It’s oven to table because it’s flat on the bottom and glazed everywhere else. It features a butterfly, a bird and flowers including Tiger lilies. Tiger lilies remind me of my grandmother because she had a huge patch of them growing along her house. I have not used this dish (or listed mugs) since I’ve inherited them but I do think the pattern is beautiful! I think it would make a nice set for brunch because you can add your basic white accessories. * the rim outline is tan, not metallic gold like the mugs
