Vintage St. Michael Pendant or Medallion Made in Italy

This religious pendant or medal features Saint Michael the Archangel. He is shown as a warrior angel slaying Satan, depicted as a dragon, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. Written is St. Michael Pray For Us. The other side shows a guardian angel comforting a child. This side is marked Italy. The pendant is very light weight, almost weightless, and appears to be made of aluminum. It is approximately 1” tall x 5/8” wide. Saint Michael is revered as a protector and leader of heavenly armies, symbolizing courage, strength, and righteousness. He is considered the patron saint of a number of professions, including police officers, military personnel, and doctors. EDIT: First 2 photos show medallion updated with a bale. I didn’t update the other 2 photos. This pendant was included with contents from The Dragon Dreams Museum in Chattanooga, TN, which closed permanently in 2016. I purchased the contents last Summer.
