Vintage Squash Blossom 20th Century Sioux Leather, Bone, Shell & Nacre Choker

Native American, central North America, mid to late 20th century. A gorgeous choker necklace with two strands of slender ungulate bone tubes, ovoid leather spacer panels, natural turquoise spacers and sterling navajo pearls. Central to the necklace is a mother-of-pearl naja pendent. The terminals of the leather necklace strand can be tied behind one’s neck for a stylized addition to any ensemble. Size of central disc: 1.5" D (3.8 cm); with ties extended, size: 31.5" W x 1.5" H (80 cm x 3.8 cm)
