Vintage Soviet Era Wood Chess Set Folding Board 4" Weighted Felt Staunton Style Beautiful chess set with folding box Hand carved pieces with felted bases and folding inlaid wood board. Doubles as storage case. Full size chess pieces Complete set Black pieces seem to be a bit heavier than the lighter pieces - (See Photos with Scale) Board squares are approximately 2" - perfect for the large king. Includes folding board which measures about 18"x18" King measures 4" tall Both hinges and clasp function properly. Great vintage condition. A tiny chip on two of the smaller light pieces - but had to really inspect to find them. I tried to do a closer up photo in one of the photos so it could be seen.
