Vintage Somayaki Tea Cups Soma Ware Double Wall Crackle Made in Japan Vintage Japan Somayaki crackleware pottery. Beautiful double wall construction tea cup with gold trim and heart shape cutout on the exterior of mug. These handleless cups are very sturdy and well made. The double wall construction keeps the heat or cold on the inside, insulating your hand These cups are in great condition for there age, a few of the cups have the running horse inside the mug the others do not. The horse has probably worn off due to use. Some light wear of the gold is worn off the rims. The hallmarks are on the inside bottom with a couple of them being on the outside rim.
