Vintage Smoky Pink Star Cut Glass Gilt Foliate Brooch

An absolute stunner, this vintage brooch features a stamped gilt brass metal open design brooch, the design having a heavy Art Nouveau influence with the fluid leaves and flourishes on the stamping. The central element of the brooch is a huge glass center stone in a mouthwatering smoky pink, heavily faceted in a star design. The stone is tightly held in a serrated bezel and sits high above the brooch. A nice size, the brooch measures 2 1/4 by 1 3/4” and is unsigned, circa 1930’s.
