Vintage Simple Sterling Silver & Blue Paste Screw Back Costume Earrings

Add a touch of elegance with these stunning blue paste rhinestone earrings. Perfect for any occasion. Vintage Simple Sterling Silver & Blue Paste Screw Back Costume Earrings. Foil backing. Prong set. They’re a stack of two beautiful bright blue stones that register in the glass range on a Presidium gem tester. Upon closer examination, I believe the stones are made of paste; but I’m not an expert. Rounded facet edges. Tiny air bubbles. They’re set in a simple sterling silver setting. Screw backs are marked “Sterling” on the back of the screw. I tested the metals of the screw and the back to verify they were Sterling. They measure 3/4 of an inch long. As you can see in the photo, there are 3 of them. A pair and a spare. The spare is easy to pick out as it has a bigger screw head than the other two. Use as a spare, or get it turned into a pendant or a cocktail ring. There’s a chip or two to the foil backing on all 3, but you really can’t tell unless you’re holding them up to a light source. Considering how old they probably are, they’re in great condition.
