Vintage Silver with Pearl Tie Tack with Silver Chain

This simple tie tack was from my father-in-law's estate so it is well over 50 years of age. Since there is no tarnish I am sure it is some alloy, and I have no idea of the pearl's origin, but it looks like new and would be fitting for any occasion, and just about any pattern on a tie.
