Vintage ornate silver plate footed hinged jewelry trinket box with a crest design On the lid and lion's head feet. The jewelry box features an elegant raised design Of scrolls and beaded borders around the body with four feet in the shape of a Figural lion's head and paw. The design on the lid top features a royal crest decorated With a lion, bird, scrolls, leaves and vines and the bottom of the lid is decorated With raised scrolls. The interior of the box is covered in a red velvet-like material which shows through to the bottom of the piece. The trinket box measures approximately 2 1/2" tall, 6 1/8" long and 5 1/4" wide And is in fair vintage condition with surface wear including scratches, scuffs, And heavy tarnish and staining.
