Vintage Silver Inlaid Mother of Pearl and Jet Art Deco Design Pendant 18" Chain

This is a Vintage Hand Crafted Mother of Pearl Abalone Shell, (it has a wonderful play of color), and Jet, cut, inlaid in Mexican Silver covered in clear resin to seal. It's an excellent art deco design. I have added a magnet catch to make it easy to put on and take off. I wanted to keep the original pendant chain, a nice sterling silver, but the rings were so tiny, one was missing, I thought the magnetic clasp would end hours of frustration trying to operate a tiny spring ring and jump ring. If you'd rather have a spring-ring. Message me. I can make that change. This isn't a huge piece but it is a conversation starter, the uniqueness of the item and the play of color attract attention. The stamp on the back says "Mexico" pre-1979 they didn't use the numbers you see today, such as 925. We don't know the grade of the silver on this piece. But it is sealed on the back. I can see a fingerprint under the loupe next to the stamp, I tried to remove it. Then realized it was sealed to the back.
