Vintage Silex Candle Warmer – Ribbed Glass & Chrome, Designed by Peter Mueller-Munk, 1949 Beautiful mid-century Silex candle warmer, designed by Peter Mueller-Munk and patented in 1949. This elegant piece features a thick pressed ribbed glass base and a chrome lid, combining functionality with iconic mid-century design. The warmer is intended to keep coffee, tea, or small dishes warm by placing a candle inside the glass base and setting a carafe or dish on the chrome lid. When lit, it casts a warm, ambient glow, perfect for cozy settings or display. Branded Silex, this vintage piece is in very good condition with only a tiny crack near one base hole. The underside of the chrome lid shows some heat spotting and discoloration, consistent with age and use.
