Hobe was founded in Paris 1887. The costume jewelry division was added in 1927 and a branch opened in the United States. They were known for making high quality pieces with intricate designs. My pictures do this beautiful and collectible articulated dangling Hobe Christmas Pin Brooch an injustice. This is 1950-60s costume jewelry at its best. The bells have little clappers, but the pin has just a faint tinkle sound when moved. Made of gold-toned metal that has no tarnish or blemishes with red and green glass beads. The pin back works and is secure. Measures 3 1/2” long x 1 1/2” wide measured across the bow. In excellent wearable condition. From a smoke-free, pet-free and perfume-free home. BR-1196
