Vintage Signed EMMONS Textured PEAR Shape Pin Brooch Textured, Pear Shape MAKER: EMMONS 1970s MARKS, BACKSTAMPS- Emmons with © symbol - the copyright 'C' next to 'EMMONS' meaning it was made after 1955. Emmons, founded in 1948, was a forerunner of Sarah Coventry. It is not very easy to find and is known for its quality. Has roughly vertical textured lines. The two leaves have a different, finer texture on interior and small beads around exterior. The pin runs horizontally, parallel to the larger/taller leaf. Measurements: 2 1/2" long from lower left to tip of right leaf. Pear is 1 1/8" wide in center. Condition: Excellent condition. Very lustrous without any noticeable cosmetic imperfections.
