Very rare! Any imperfections are normal due its age. Smoke free home. Cliff (1938 - 1984) was posthumously honored as one of the greatest Native American artists in 1995 by American Indian Art Magazine. The Hemis Kachina is the most well known and beautiful of all Hopi Katsinas.
The final dance of the Kachina season is the Niman or Home Dance. The only figures to appear in this dance are the tall, stately Hemis and Hemis Mana, their female counterparts. They bring to the dance whole corn plants from the year's first corn harvest, and brightly colored presents which they distribute to the audience.
