It doesn't lay across both shoulders as far as I can tell. There is an elastic loop and another button to secure another area but I can't figure it out. Just want to put it out there to not mislead anyone. This comes from an old money Virginia Estate. Quality custom made possibly as I don't see signs of removed labels. Weight at bottom of front panel to lay nicely.
