All three pieces have genuine yellow Bakelite handles, and the metalwork hits that sweet mid-century utilitarian charm. Made in Sheffield, England – the steel that basically raised generations.🍗 -Handles: excellent vintage condition -Knife: Beautifully sharp! -Fork: clean with normal vintage patina -The sharpening steel: perfectly seasoned from decades of honorable service Condition is vintage, but great, the metal shows only normal age wear. It's REALLY sharp. There is some very minor scratches on the blade - see photos - but it probably wasn't used often over the past 50-60 years. I only gave these pieces a quick cleaning, mostly because there was tape residue on the stainless portions - not from me, but the last owner. They were trying to safety-proof the fork tines and blade because they were so sharp. From a smoke-free, healthy home. [957]
