Vintage Shawnee Cookie Jar Puss N Boots Cat Patented 1945 Pottery Excellent

This is a wonderful vintage Puss n Boots cookie jar made by Shawnee Pottery in the original 1945 “Patented” version. Puss n Boots was made in a number of variations - this is the original short tail version with yellow bird on the hat, maroon coloured bow and blue around the upper feet. It measures 10” in height and weighs 3 lbs and 7 oz. The underside is impressed with “Patented Puss ’n Boots USA”. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, wear or crazing, clean inside and out. This is a wonderful example - great addition to a collection or just as a cute display piece, especially for the cat lover! Note: chip, cracks and crazing devalue a vintage piece.
