Vintage Scoubidou Glass Bottle Made In Spain

This form of wrapping strands of colorful plastic to appear wicker-like (similar to gimp) is referred to as "scoubidou". The top fastens with a loop closure. The bottom is made of wood and does show some wear {see photos}. These were popular in France during the 1950’s. This bottle is fun and would be a great conversation piece as your bar decor or otherwise. It's colors include pinkish-red, turquoise green, and golden-yellow. Measures approximately 14-1/2" Tall. Great collectible bottle! Smoke-free home.
