Vintage Santons Traditional Handcraft Clay Figurine

Santons Traditional Handcrafted Clay Figurine from the Provence region of France, are known as “little saints” in Provençal. Commonly used to create nativity scenes during Christmas. Originating in Marseille during the French Revolution when public religious displays were banned, santons are crafted through a traditional process of molding, trimming, firing, and decorating.
