Vintage Sanibel Art Pottery with Hand Painted Sandpiper is made in the USA. This item is signed Sanibel Pottery and dated 1996? The date on the stamp is not very clear. Could be 86? This beach inspired pottery is made of ceramic or stoneware in a green / turquoise/ blue background with brown and tan speckled or drip glazed throughout. Hand painted sand pipers surround the pottery. Aprox measurements: 4” in height by 3.5” in width. There is a small chip on the rim as imaged, otherwise great condition, no cracks or discoloration.
