Vintage Samsonite Suitcase Custom Tapestry Americana Landmarks Folk Luggage MCM One-of-a-kind vintage Samsonite hard-sided suitcase, originally from the 1960s–70s, uniquely re-covered in a colorful tapestry fabric featuring U.S. travel landmarks including the Statue of Liberty, Golden Gate Bridge, Hollywood, Las Vegas, and more. Has two wheels & handle for upright rollage though it’s a bit unsteady this way. Measures 25” L x 7” W x 19” H— this is a larger piece. Trimmed with multicolor woven accents, this piece blends retro Samsonite durability with folk art charm. CONDITION: Vintage Samsonite suitcase in working order. Both latches lock, though one has a slight lift (cosmetic only) which I photo above. Tapestry cover shows some pulls/loose threads and wear, and metal hardware has tarnish. Bottom feet and wheels both has wear from normal use.
