Vintage SHELL CAMEO Victorian BROOCH ~ 3-layer ANTIQUED GOLD FILIGREE Setting

Vintage ~ my mom's (most probably from the '40s-/50s) ~ a VICTORIAN-style OVAL SHELL CAMEO (you can see shadings in the carved shell itself) ~ sent in 3 levels of ANTIQUED GOLD (probably gold-filled, but couldn't find markings on the back). WIDEST FILIGREE (bottom layer) extends a little over 3/8" out on the sides of the cameo. Then there's a rim of 1/8" thick scallops ~ and above that is a rim of 1/8" wide rope (where the "antiqued" look of the metal is probably most apparent). The cameo itself is set in with decorative golden prongs all around it. The cameo measures almost 3/4" across and 3/4" tall (which is weird b/c it's an oval when you look at it) ~ but the measurements of the entire brooch are 1-1/4" tall and 1-1/2" across. There's a sturdy pin across in back. No flaws at all here ~ nothing missing, no nicks or scratches ~ as near PERFECT as something this old can be. The color of the background in the cameo is a RUSTY BROWN (and some of that coloring is actually in the shell used to carve the cameo face).
