Size: 10" Diameter x 9.5" H Color: Black, Red, Orange Style: Spice Box Materials: Wood, Metal Condition: Pre-loved, good, used condition with signs of wear - a bit of wear to the paint and a piece at the base of the top knob is missing, there is also a crack in the wood that does not go all the way through Beautiful and richly detailed Middle Eastern Spice Box is round with a knob on the top and a metal hasp closure. The wooden box has a black background and is lightly carved and then richly adorned in red, orange and yellow paintings of animals, men and leaves. On top of that, metal pieces have been fastened all around in the shapes of flowers and other decorative shapes. The top has a wooden knob adorned in the same fashion with a circular piece of metal. The hinged lid has a hand forged metal hasp and loop closure. Please note that this is a vintage hand carved and hand painted item and may have some imperfections.
